Welcome to Shadwell Sailing Club

For the most exciting sailing on the River Thames and possibly the best fun you can have in central London, why not join us here at Shadwell.

We meet every Tuesday evening at 6pm, from April 1st to late October and welcome everyone from absolute novices to experienced sailors. We always sail on the Thames and provide all the equipment that you need for a safe and exciting evening. See the sailing and information pages for more details.

Several sailing events and trips are organised throughout the year for club members (the 2014 programme will be available shortly). You may find yourself racing around the Isle of Sheppey, in the UK’s longest dinghy race or sailing up to Richmond or across the English Channel in our trusty Drascombe Longboat, Vicky J.
